DETAILS ON OUR CLASSES
WHEN ARE CLASSES?
We host class sessions on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays. We also offer multiple timings as well to provide accommodation for kids who live in the west-coast time zones. Our Timings are 4-5pm (CST) on Saturdays, 6-7pm (CST) on Sundays, 4-5pm and 6-7pm (CST) on Fridays. Our classes keep are designed to be useful for kids as young as 4th grade to as old as 9th grade. Rest assured that all students will find these classes challenging, regardless of their age, due to the eventual depth.
WHERE ARE THE CLASSES? WHAT DO I NEED?
We host classes on Zoom, and use a variety of interactive online resources such as Phet Interactive Simulations, and Quizizz in each class, to reinforce and supplement the teaching while promoting constructive discussions on the topic. Our lessons are designed off a proprietary curriculum that stems on topics from AP & IB Biology, Chemistry, and College Biochemistry, and Technology. Our Classes are so easy for students due to intuitive teaching, which emphasizes live instruction, intuitively designed graphics/schematics and more.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
ScienceTeX is a mission that was designed to be free for all, forever. We charge absolutely nothing for any of our activities.
WHAT ELSE DO WE DO?
We eventually plan on expanding to a Coding course, and a rocketry course in the future. However, ScienceTeX also engages in fun exhibition lessons for students to sample a diverse set of topics. In addition we host and oversee many competitions, like the British Biology Challenge, Quizbowl competitions and more. We have a lot coming soon.
WHAT DO WE TEACH?
We Teach a Curriculum that is derived from AP, IB, and Direct-College driven concepts. We have literal proof and witness kids as young as 4th grade learning and excelling in subjects that a medical undergraduate would study in their first year. We teach very advanced science in a way that makes it interesting to the younger ages through the various methods that we implement.
